CASCADIA CHAPTER

The Cascadia Green Building Council is one of three original chapters of the US Green Building Council (USGBC), the building industry’s only balanced, nonprofit, consensus coalition promoting the understanding, development and accelerated implementation of “green building.” Cascadia serves its members by striving to fulfill the USGBC’s mission, realize its vision, and accomplish its goals in the Pacific Northwest region.

MISSION

Cascadia's Mission is to promote the design construction and operation of buildings in Oregon, Washington and British Columbia that are environmentally responsible, profitable and healthy places to live, work and learn.

CASCADIA BRANCHES

To overcome potential challenges associated with serving such a broad region, Cascadia Chapter Branches have been established to provide networking and continuing education opportunities for members and industry professionals in their immediate marketplace. Currently, Branches are active in Seattle (includes Eastside & North Sound), Bellingham, Inland, Tacoma/Olympia , Portland, Eugene, The Rogue Valley, High Desert, Alaska, Vancouver Island, Thompson/Okanagan, Vancouver British Columbia, Kootenay/Rockies.
